I was appointed in December 2020 by Governor Pritzker to serve as Arbitrator for the Illinois Workers Compensation Commission. From January 2015 through December 2020, I worked as a Spanish speaking attorney at Elfenbaum Evers, and Zielinska, P.C., in Chicago, Illinois helping injured workers with their Illinois Workers’ Compensation claims. I previously focused on workers’ compensation defense at Knell O'Connor Danielewicz and have handled plaintiff’s personal injury/nursing home cases in the past at other firms. I have been a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois since November 2011. I am also admitted to the General and Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois. I am also an adjunct professor in trial advocacy at Chicago-Kent College of Law.
